Showcase Leica 24mm f/2.8 Elmarit-R

I acquired this lens on an eBay auction recently and decided to give a try on a Sunday afternoon trip to the local conservatory. Most of these photos were taken from about 12 inches away with the lens set between f/2.8 to f/4.

Wonderful colors in these images.

Yes indeed. The conservatory is a very colourful place and the plants are stunning.

The colours are probably very "punchy" in these images because I set the film mode on my GF1 to "Vibrant" and also hit the "Auto Tone" button when I import them into Lightroom3. Overall, I'm really pleased with the results.
