LED lighting flash

Does anybody know or have information on this 'flash unit' The advantage is that it's not connected to the camera so there's no danger of damaging the electronics (as apparently could happen on using an 'old' flash unit). The price (30 GBP) makes it sound like a really cheap alternative to the wildly overpriced Olympus FL-14.

That is not a flash unit, it is a continuous led light source more intended for video than still, could be used a still light but it will be on all the time it is being used and more than likely will not be very bright relative to a flash unit

I have a slightly larger version and use it for video. No reason why it can't be used for still photos though. They are light and run cool.
