This was taken in Oregon with my E-PL1 and the 14-42mm kit lens. Is was about 1am with a full moon. The picture definitely revealed more of the scene than I could see with my eyes.
The aperture was wide open and I exposed for 30 seconds at ISO 200. The result wasn't bad but I adjusted the levels in Photoshop. I also denoised the sky some. I like the way the field looks as if it is daylight but the big dipper is shining above.
Image stabilization was on. I've since read that that may have decreased the resolution of the image. The stars look reasonably sharp though.
