I don't care what photographed those with even if it was a lens rammed in a donkey's bum but that third one is a killer!:2thumbs:
My sentiments exactly. I only wish I could have expressed them in such a pithy way!

Here's the last with the D300.
My code system dates it at 6/08 frame # 644. I believe we were at a Funeral for a Phila Highway Patrol Police Officer. He was gunned down in North Philly....
We had 7,500 bikes at the flag line entrance to the cemetery. His name was Pat McDonald.

Yeah, I was just talking with tad over that other welcome thread. The camera is a great one but not the kind ya miss. There's something very mechanical about it that doesn't let you fall in love with it....

It will not be missed.......

I would miss mine

I call it the "brick" - especially when I forget to take the tripod mounting plate off

Forgot to mention

Those other images were shot with 3 Diffrent Olympus camera's, not with the D300.

Along with my D300 i also had an E-420 E-510 & the E-30 with grip

9-18mm, 12-60mm SWD, FL-50R flash, 50-200mm SWD, 25mm pancake 14-54mm Mk II, 70-300mm & the 40-150mm.

So at one point i had 4 DSLR's & alot of glass

Sold off all my Olympus kit to move over to the G1, and at one point decided to keep just my D300 kit.

but now everything gone it just me & the G1 with just 3 lenses atm.

Razer,
well, at least this thread is about the D300. Otherwise even as Mod, there wouldn't be enuff room to list what I dumped in the last 7-10 years......

I think having a DSLR becomes an addiction in some ways.

I've spent silly amounts of money over the years, on camera's & lenses

But now ive reached the grand old age of 33 soon to be 34 next month :(, have my own place to pay for, a wife to be and a little girl, all this spending had to come to a stop.

Im just as happy with one system now.
