Got mine last night
Went straight out behind the house to try it out and almost broke neck, legs and arms (Crocs on steep slippery slope :shakehead:). It was full moon and I was too sore to concentrate so nothing to write home about. Anyways, lets start to fill this thread!

This morning I was planning a pre-sunrise bioluminescence shoot in Eaglehawk Neck but slept in so just got a quick snap in the neighbours paddocks.

Noone else?
A couple of shots from another rushed stop on my way home. Only had a 15min parking so...

And one from under the Derwent Bridge. Like lots of buildings around town it's lit up in red for the Dark MoFo festival.

I'm a little bit disappointed in the star bursts. A bit mushy but maybe I'm doing something wrong. IIRC this was at f11.
Other than that I need to spend some quality time to explore, not rushing like I've done so far. It's TINY but quite hefty, feels heavier than expected. If 170g can feel heavy...
The aperture ring is ok but the clicks could be more distinct. The Samyang fisheye is very easy to know by touch where you are at but I don't get the same feeling with the Laowa.
The lens cap is very difficult to get off and put back on. Very frustrating.
Without having doing any proper testing, all I can say is that image quality is good enough for me. So, for me, it's a keeper.

Keep on posting man. I'm keen on getting one, just like to see a few more sample shots before jumping in. They're pretty rare at the moment (sample shots) The PL 8-18 has been tempting me a bit, but the weight & size is holding me back, as I currently shoot all Panasonic primes.

Every push on that I've had for other add-on lenses have very quickly become loose and untrustworthy... I'm not a fan.
A good point. I'm just sick of the pinching ones. The break on me all the time. Surely its possible to make a push on that keeps its shape better. I do like the one for the Samyang fisheye. Solid and with a tiny bit of sugru to increase the friction, it works a charm.

Two untouched OOC-JPEGs. Both taken with my GX800 and Laowa 7,5mm. I think the aperture was f/11. We just moved a couple of days ago and now we need to sell our old apartment and this lens is the lens to grab the photos for the ad. So far I'm loving this lens. :dance4:

I use the UVfilter that came with it (about 2mm thick), and by placing the cap almost 45" it´s easy to grab the lens-cap from the outside instead and it makes it much easyer to take off (and on).

Mine has cemented it's permanent place in my lens arsenal. It's a keeper and I'm not lusting for any of the other wide options anymore :)
