I picked up an Olympus 50-200 SWD to shoot my son's lacrosse games, but due to scheduling issues and other things hadn't had a chance to take it a tournament until this past Saturday. It was pouring throughout the day and I spent some time early helping the boys warm up and being equipment manager, but was able to shoot a bit in the later half of the tournament as the light improved. I wasn't able to move much along the sidelines, so the angles were not always optimal.

All shots with my E-M1 + 50-200SWD. So far, I am loving the loving the combination.

    1. Just a shot to give a sense of the rain midway through the tournament

    2. Ground ball

    3. Triple team

    4. A 100% crop mostly because I can! That's the coach in the background.

    5. About to pass

    6. As usual, my son(#85)'s jersey is slipping off his pads!

    7. I love taking shots of the goalie as the other team comes into score. This kid rolled his ankle in the previous game, so he gamely played goalie in this one.

Great action shots! I've shot some kids soccer games in a rainstorm with that combo. So glad it's weathersealed, and the IQ is great. Love that lens on the EM1.

They really are great shots, I'd be really happy with those.
