A midday family walk in the noon sun with the 7.5, 14, and 45-175. Some are already posted around here and there but I thought I'd reconvert and tint as a group.
Angels flight to MOCA to the Bradbury building.

    C&C welcome and appreciated.
    Thanks for looking.

Really good stuff John. I am miffed that you're walking around grabbing all these awesome shots sans Gary. I do think #2 and #3 are a tad on the dark side (Darth Varder notwithstanding), at least on my monitor.

Sorry to all for the late response. Was out doing dad duties. Globetrotter basketball camp, drink stand volunteering at the local carnival, and out to dinner. Phew!

    Thank you Ed and Steve.

Here's my little recipe. Heavy spices on these.

Huelight GX1/G5 profile on import to LR
Preset - all mild - shadows up, highlights down, contrast, and clarity
    Convert to B&W
    More contrast
    Add black

    To Silver Efex
    #2,3,6,and 8 used -1EV preset
    the rest neutral preset
    More contrast
Silver hue toning set to default orange 75% increase

    Back to LR
Minor touches to highlights and shadows
    More contrast
    Export to flickr

A bit heavy is probably an understatement. But I like them.

    Thank you very much.

    Thanks.
#9 and 10 are shots of the inside of the Bradbury building. I wish I had taken the time to get some close ups of the detail in there. Amazing.

    Thank you Ed.

    Let's set something up.
I was so amazed by the transformation with the minus EV preset I forgot to bring some of it back.
    Thanks again.

    Thanks Gerard.
Actually I shot the 7.5 and 14 on the GX1.
    The 45-175 on the G5.

It showed a little more latitude than I expected.

Great set John. Really like both 2 & 3....2 i reckon would've been amazing in a steely cold black and white, perhaps with a touch of silver toning in NiK SilverFX.

    8 rocks as well.

    Good work.

    Thank you Joe.
I'm going to give that steely cold a good look.

I might have to give my old Epson R1800 a fresh new set of blacks.
