My E-M1 had developed the common "unresponsive rear wheel" problem so I sent it off for repair. It was back in my hands within 7 days with not only the wheel fixed, but with a new top plate due to "damage from external force" - there was a small scratch in the paint on the left side. No charge.

    That's what I call service!

I had a very good experience too writing to olympus.uk to ask about the MySet switch with mode dial that does not change function buttons.

Olympus italy instead was quite terrible: they told me to reset all the camera settings and when I replied telling that this was a common problem they stopped answering...
  3. I'm on my second E-M1 (short but boring story involving a deal on a 12-40mm lens kit), but it seems that despite being eight months newer and potentially being from later production run, it now has the exact same rear dial issue as did the first. Olympus Australia has also been great on warranty repairs, but I'm tired of sending cameras to them that need repairing.
