I just received a Konica 40mm f1.8 lens in great shape for £30 - Id though id test it to the 12-50 kits lens as its the only "expensive" lens i own at this point.

I shot at the same 40mm FOV for both lens, set the Konica to f5.6 and the 12-50 to f5.8 as it dont go any lower than that at 40mm, the results were quite surprising!!

my copy of 12-50 has alway performed great when it was my only lens I was happy with the results as they came out just as good as my old 16-85mm lens on my Nikon.

The old Konica seems to be less noisy also at the same ISO 200 , hows that work ?

I want the PL25 and 7-14mm lenses I think ill sell this 12-50 after that
