These folks have acquired the Kodak Image sensor solutions division. Should still be able to keep the sensors flowing. Seems that division was actually making decent money.

Nov 7 WSJ has an article about the acquisition as well.

The question is... what's left at Kodak? Film seems to being going away very rapidly now that the motion-picture industry has begun the move to digital. Sensors are gone. Patents? They're already up for sale. After that, what's left? Printers? Second-rate consumer cameras made by Flextronics? Is there a point any longer... or am I missing something?

Will probably become like Westinghouse or Polaroid - just a name used by someone who buys it after they went defunct.

Very sad. A once premium brand now regulated to the junk pile.
