i just want to see some photos made by the kit lens of the pen series or the omd. just to see what these lenses are capable of, the image threads are usually filled with great shots but of other lenses like pana 20 or oly45.so anyway=) hopefully people will post
these kit lens are quite capable with good light... just don't like the plastic mounts. here's some test shots in the backyard at 42mm, f/5.6. Straight out the camera. {} {}
Kit lenses are not my favorite, but they are pretty handy, especially outdoors. Here are some from my kit lens. Some of these are from 3 years ago with the EP1 and 14-42 mki, so they might not be "showing off" the technical capabilities of the new kit lenses, but they're still valid for FOV and DOF questions. Wrestling match at the cottage. I think my wife is losing to the kids Random shots. Not sure why I shot them all portrait. playing around with snapseed and the original without the effects

I've been happy with the Olympus 14-42mk1. It really saw some heavy use during a trip to CA last year where I was practicing landscape shooting. While I've shared these photos in the Travel forum, here are a couple of my favorites:
