A week or two back my train was diverted to King’s Cross Station in the morning due to a problem on the Moorgate line I get to work. The queue for the tube was horrendous, so I decided to spend 10 minutes with my E-M5 rather than attempting to join the crush.

Thank you - it can be difficult to know how to approach "organic" architecture like this.

There must have been a crisis in the wizarding world, and us unwary Muggles as always get the short end of the stick.

(I am referencing the correct station right? )

You very much are - I couldn't actually spot where the Harry Potter related sign ("platform 9 and 3/4") was on this visit. I don't know if they removed it in the refurb (or I could have been disorientated by staring at the roof!)

What I like about those two is the way most of the people in the shot look like they care not a jot about the amazing new building around them - they could be in the tin shed at the front and look the same
