My son's U11 Lacrosse team played its first game of the season yesterday. I was mostly hanging with my 5yo, but got a chance to take a few shots nonetheless.

Everything was shot RAW+JPEG as is my usual habit; these are SOOC JPEG crops. All shot with the O75-300II at 1/1000 to freeze motion. Game was played on a HS football field. Most are from the bleachers, except #1 which is from behind the opposite end zone. This was my first experience shooting kids' sports with m43 and I thought I did ok.

    1. My son on an end to end run. Of course, he lost a shoe :) Taken from opposite end of the field. Shoeless Joe.

    2. Double Team.

    3. Focus in Goal.

    4. You can see what the pros carry. The photographer behind the kid with the ball had a Sony with an adapted L lens. On the move.

    5. Slipping.

    6. Setting a Pick.
