Continuing our quest to skip a portion of the New England Winter, we've moved on from the Everglades to Key Largo...

Stopped at a small restaurant called the Bayside in Key Largo for dinner, they have a lovely pier I took a few photos with the GF1.

For your perusal...

So what was dinner?

Gary

PS- Any special advantage from having a pier with that design?

Dinner was Yellow Tail, crusted in pecans with mango sauce and Mahi Mahi with coconut steamed rice...

The Piers are for the sailors and pleasure boaters to tie off and have dinner. The style or shape an L or inverted L is very common and allows multiple approaches and tie offs.

Not much different in New England....

Hi Gary,

No I'm just changing over to the 4/3 format. The only filters right now are 1A for lens protection. I've been shooting full size Canon 10D for the past several years.

I have very few filters in my collection at 52mm..

mmmmhhh Mango and coconut steamed rice ...

Most of the piers I've seen here on the West Coast are straight affairs.
