I'm considering the Kata E-690 rain protection for my G1 (with 14-45mm and L-plate). But I can't find a stockist local to me, so before I order from B&H I thought I'd check if anyone here has used it.
I use the larger E-702 with my 5DmkII and 7D bodies, and am very happy with it, which is why I'm leaning towards the E-690 for my G1 kit. I'm planning to take the G1 with me when I return to Antarctica this November, and there'll probably be some times I leave it on a tripod with an intervalometer doing timelapse. I don't want to be fretting about the camera dying in a rainstorm on South Georgia...
Anyone?
