I shot this image in New York. In the middle of a busy town you come across some gardens serene and wonderful maintained by voulonteers. It isn't an infrared shot. But due to heavy sun hitting the leaves it looked like one. Shot in the camera as a B&W and as is, no cropping slight editing in the contrasts.

When you look at the shot what do you think first? For me your thoughts are importrant.

I shot this through an iron gate. The garden wasn't open to public. I can see people, indeed.



This photograph reminds me of the style of paintigs from Caspar David Friedrich.

Mostly people in the foreground and the viewer of the picture sees the same as the persons in front of him, plus them.
Here in your photograph people are missing but we easily add them by imagination.

It's a nice serene moment. The bench looks so lonely just waiting for some one to come and share the space with it....
Waiting, patiently waiting.....
