    I did a google price check, it's already selling for $299 everywhere it seems.

    i am waiting until they hit $150 :} i saw cameta had refurbished for $180 - tempting although a used pan 20 for $250 might be better option.

    Wow. I was thinking of selling my M.Zuiko 17mm lens for 160 USD and putting that towards getting a 14mm Panasonic lens or a 30mm Sigma. But now that the new 17mm most probably wouldn't want the old one at that price.

    I got mine *with the VF-1* for 230 EU from HK, and I am still v. happy. The VF-1 can be used with the new 17mm, or even, outside the frame lines, with a 14mm.

    As a true pancake, IMHO the combo is still a bargain.
