So I upgraded my body from the E-PL2 to the E-PM2 and I like so far. However, the oly vf-2 which was once a very nice tool on the E-PL2, now looks like dog doo doo on the E-PM2. The outline of objects is very jagged and is an eye sore! Has anyone else come across this!?

I don't use a viewfinder but just a thought - have you upgraded the E-PM2? Maybe there's an upgrade that allows it to work better with the v-f2?

The VF-2 works very well with the E-PM2. There must be something wrong with your setup.

I updated the firmware on the e-pm2 today to 1.2.. I dont know what kind of setup would be different. Like I said. It works perfectly when I swap it over to my EPL2.

Is there some sort of setting I touched or havent touched?

edit: I also noticed that it only happens when it is in live full view. If I zoom in (while live), view pictures, navigate through the menu on the vf-2 its perfectly crisp. Only when I am in the normal shooting mode does it exhibit the aliasing

Something is wrong. I had the VF-2 on the E-PM2 and it was great.....

Check your frame rate setting in the setup menu D.
If it is set to high the image looks worse.
I have mine set to normal...

That was it! thanks! I guess I was just going through the menus and toggling options to get it setup like my epl2 and must have thought a high frame rate was a good idea.

Only if the EVF has the innards to allow for high FPS, like the one in the E-M5, or the new VF-4.
