just got my Sigma 19mm for the OMD. It sure looks sweet on the OMD... with the lens hood. Can't wait to put it thru it's paces...

I briefly farted around with the Sigma 19mm 2.8 and the 30mm 2.8 on my EM-5 in the store the other day and it looked real sharp from the LCD screen. I'm also seeing some real good reviews on the 19mm:cool: not bad for a lens that retails for $269.99 CDN. But my hearts in the Pany 25 1.4! hell I could buy both of these lenses for the cost of the 25 1.4:eek:

I really wasn't expecting much from the looks dept. on the sigma 19mm so I was pleasantly surprised in how it made the OMD look a bit more professional with it's build quality and lens hood. I mean for $199, I really couldn't pass it up... My 14mm f/2.5 pany has been stuck to my OMD since I got it so this is a welcome change... I know for sure that the models that I will be shooting wouldn't be giving me a funny look now when I use the OMD on them.... Cheers...

actually used the OMD and the pany 14mm a couple of weekends ago for a photoshoot for some MUA/hairstylists catalog.... all the other photogs were using their big DSLR's while I was using my Xpro1 and my OMD... One of the models actually rolled her eyes when I took out the OMD for her shot... she quickly changed her mind when she saw the pics though...
