Just received the Panasonic 14mm I had ordered. I love how compact and lightweight it is. It also came in the best packaging I've seen from an eBay seller. Lens wrapped in two thick layers of bubble wrap, enclosed in folded thick foam, inside a small sturdy cardboard box that was just the right size, wrapped in a plastic mailing bag.

I took a few shots in A mode, the autofocus we delightfully fast but the noise it makes is a bit annoying. Then I tried switching to MF mode, and it was still making clicking sounds. Anyone care to enlighten me?

I'm going to use this as my standard AF lens, but frankly I wasn't the least bit excited. I get a lot more excited playing with legacy lenses and adapters. Good thing I can buy 10 old lenses for the price of this one, in fact I already have :p.
