I havnt shot much B&W since the days of film and I was a poor student who couldnt afford the developing of colour! I'm not going to say how long ago that was

Anyway, I've been playing around with Silver EFXPro and came up with these two (I did post them in another thread in the Landscape/Travel thread so I apologize for the duplicate post). Certainl appreciate any feedback (good and bad!) that you can provide.

#1 is a bit "glowy" and the tone bothers me.

    #2 is Perfect

I agree, not enough blacks in #1, #2 looks great.

I like #1 very much. Looks very much like a platinum print. Nice job!

My opinion differs. I like #1 a lot! It might could use a bit more contrast, but I really like it. The second looks strange to me. It almost looks like a movie set with synthetic lighting and strange shadows. I've been in Venice, and it just dawned on me that that scene is probably in Las Vegas, hence the unrealistic lighting. Am I correct?

I like the composition in the first very much but not the tone. Tell us why you decided to use sepia.
