I can't believe i have just bought an Olympus E-P1  I was toying with the Oly E-PL1 but it just doesn't look retro enough so i found a E-P1 in the For Sale section on this very forum! It will fit nicely with my OM-2 & Olympus Trip 35 :2thumbs: I'll pop a pic of the Olympus Family up when it arrives.

LOL

I am after a Panasonic 14-45mm from Grum on this forum which will do for now. I will prob get the Pany 20mm f1.7 when funds allow but i also have a set of OM Manual focus lenses that i want to use with my adapter kept over from the GF1.

Life is sweeeet!

C'mon BB, where are you?

I am sure the cam is capable of far better shots than these, but being a relative novice at photography i was quite pleased with them. More shots can be seen on my flickrstream. I am positive you will be very happy with it Andy.

i know 3 people who would kill for a white ep1....... silver was one that was available here in ny at first

the 14-45 panny is a really nice piece of glass i use it more frequently thasn the oly kit zoom on both the ep1 and gf1, it is destined to be a classic because recently panasonic replaced it with a shorter range 14-42 plastic mount with unswitchable ois that is actually larger than the original 14-45, it is now the smallest zoom available in micro 4\3 with integrated ois, it is a tiny, elegant zoom with outstanding IQ

your ep1 in white is also destined for cult status, a great combo , congrats

Cheers Andy. All the shots were taken with the Pany 20mm. I think most of my shots with the E-P1 was taken using the 20mm so i could benefit from the IBIS of the Oly, always struggled with blur/shake using the 20mm and the GF1. I have used the excellent 14-45 with my E-P2 and very pleased with the results.

When i had my GF1 i did a back to back test of the 20mm and 14-45mm at 20mm and i could hardly see a difference at the same f stop. Shame the 14-45 isn't f2.8 but hey the sun will shine every day from now on!
