Received my unused (new) Jupiter-9 today so i nailed it to the GF1 and took a shot in poor light at f5.6 to get all the piggy in focus and WOW!! with a little PP it was super WOW! I have been wanting a Jupiter-9 for ages and a good one came up so i had to have it.

Nailed to the GF1:

I've had this lens for a long time now (used to use it on my Minolta DSLR) but have only yesterday received my new m42 adaptor for my G1. I'm really looking forward to trying it out.

Lovely photo, by the way!

Here are some sample from my J-9 on a 10D some years ago now :)

Its a Jack of all trades... soft @ f/2 but wonderful at 2.8 onwards.

If You think of my pictures, I applied some sharpening, but again, it shows that it is possible to make sharp and contrasty picture.
