I recently read about a photographer named Jane Bown. I believe she is best known for her portraits of famous people (from the Beatles to the Queen) while working for the Observer. I think he stuff is just terrific (I especially like her portrait of Samuel Beckett). It's amazing what she can do with a simple setup and a whole lot of experience. Apparently he shot almost exclusively with OM1s, a 50/1.8 and and 85/2. Makes me feel stupid for having more than three lenses. Great stuff.
