Iv used canon and still use Nikon DSLRS so I know how to use them for this type of photography just wondering if the same settings apply ie shutter speeds I usually shoot at 1600 would the same speeds on a 43 sensor still be adequate?

I think you can use M43 for that type of photography with success. Probably using higher ISO will allow you to use the high shutter speeds. I'm learning how to shoot with a tele lens so my experience is of very mixed results. I'd like to know more about it too.

I'm sure it'll just take a bit of practice the EVF a bit tricky trying to track birds iv only ad the cameras a day so I'm sure the coming wks should be fun filled

If you're serious about BIF, then I wouldn't think u43 is the right choice. How about a 7d, or 1Dx?

What was it about the 7D that didn't work for you?
