I'm kind of answering a questions that no asked, but I figured it might happen to others too, so I'm sharing my problem and its fix. I got around 22,000 clicks on my camera, and no more warranty. I noticed today that my tripod mounted OM-D would restart when I set the tripod down, or if the tripod legs hit something. Tapping the camera on its sides did the same thing. After some trial and error, I figured it was due to loose batteries. I guess taking the battery out and put another one so many time has made things a bit loose. Here is how I fixed it: I used a screwdriver and lifted the three prongs inside the battery compartment a tad bit. It helped a little, but the camera would still restart with a hard tap. Then I put two layers of clear tape over the top of my battery...and voila! no more restarts when tapped.
