Is this naming convention normal?!

    I don't know if it's normal, or why they did it, but my G1 has the same way to count the exposures !

    Nothing to worry about, I would think !

    The name is in two parts (not that it is obvious).

    The previous shot is {folder 100 shot# 998} and the next shot is in a new {folder 101 shot# 001}.

    You have obviously deleted shot# 999.

    That or you took several thousand shots in two minutes you cannot remember.
