    Kind of new, getting back into things & as I read some posts, I'm stumped by the abbreviations people use (CA, for example). Is there a wiki I'm missing to help with that? Or is there one out there that someone could point me to?

    Some of the more common acronyms I've seem:

    IBIS = in body image stabilization
    CA = Chromatic Aberration
    IQ = image quality
    OIS / Power OIS / Mega OIS = Panasonic image stabilization (on lenses)
    DR = Dynamic Range

    A few more off the top of my head:

    GAS = Gear Acquisition Syndrome (a common affliction around this forum)
    WA = Wide Angle (generally refers to :43: focal lengths between ~14 and maybe 20)
    UWA = Ultra Wide Angle (generally refers to :43: focal lengths less than ~14)
    AF = Auto-focus
    MF = Manual focus
    OOF = Out of Focus
    Bokeh = The quality of the OOF areas of an image (this is not an abbreviation, but rather a translation of a Japanese term)

    Links! Super! I'll take a look at them. Thanks all. You've cleared up a few things already. Everything has it's own language, doesn't it?
