Is it normal for the 20/1.7 to take 20 years to get from near to far focus when on manual? I have to turn it about 400 degrees at a fast pace for it to focus from infinity to minimum.

Is it normal for the GF2 to refuse to af-c when the 20/1.7 is attached? The 14-42 has no problems with af-c, but the 20/1.7 af-c is greyed out (movie mode af-c works though).

No manual focus problems for me.

No AFC option with the 20mm on the G1 either.

The 20mm doesn't support continuous AF which is why it's greyed out.

The 20mm does not support AF-C of anything.

Might be quicker to use AF+M. Let the camera AF first, then use the focusing ring to fine tune focus if you need to.

I agree the 20mm sucks to manual focus.

Agreed. I recall being mildly annoyed by this on more than one occasion.

.... this is the first negative thing I've heard about the Pana 20 f/1.7.

It's the only thing on the lens that could be better, IMO
