IR in Southern Pennsylvania

    The stream in the right side of this IR image is of the Western branch of the Antietam Creek (I could say some more of the history of the creek, but I won't bore you with the details unless you ask).

    This IR image was taken with an unconverted OM-D and a 720nm IR filter exposed at 1/2 second through an aperture of f/5 at an ISO2000 and 14mm (wide end of the Panny 14-140).


    Post-processing was done using PS/CS6 with channel mixing (swapping red - blue) and adjusting hue and tint for effect, then Nik HDR Efex Pro and sharpening with the PS/CS filters. I'm still not convinced that my Olys can compete with my converted Nikon, but I am not ready to convert an Oly yet (due to expense and camera body commitment when I already have the converted Nikon)
