    Infrared modified E-P1 With a twist...Versatile

    Hello,

Well this is not selling, How about I put a optical quality clear glass inside. So you can use it in different ways!!!
By adding a Maxmax X-NiteCC1 on your lens for regular photography or a infrared filter of your choice for more versatile usage...

    Let me know...

I have a great shape modified for Infrared photography. It has an Hoya R72 install inside.
I have made the mod myself. I have been doing that on Canon and Olympus camera for 5 years. No worries...

Included is the cam, strap, battery, charger, USB cable, Box and manual.

Price is $400 plus shipping and Paypal

    Here are some samples...

I can also modify your Pen if you want, I have filters in stock..

Would you mind sharing a bit more about the mod?
    * What's the approximate process?
    * Is it temporary or (semi-)permanent?
    * Do the photos have to be long exposure?
    * Are these daytime shots? Does very low light work?

The original filter install by Olympus is replaced with a infrared filter.
The modification is semi-permanent it can be reverse but the camera needs to be reopened.
You can take picture almost as you woud usually do, you loose half to a third of a stop.
They come out a bit pink and the rest is bone in post processing.
These shot are all day time and you us it pretty much the same way you would do regular photography

    Hop this help

That's a great price. I paid that much to have an EP2 modified for IR.

Just out of curiosity, can a GF1 be modified to shoot IR? If so, I've got an old GF1 I'm considering selling, but if it can be modded, that might be pretty cool. Let me know :)

I've been kicking around the idea of modifying my epl1 for a while. Can you say what it would cost to convert that body?

I have enough filters to do 2 micro 4/3 sensor, I will charge $200 plus actual return shipping cost.
Once these filtered are used I will have to charge the added cost of the filter.
    I will do any models.

Man oh man, I wish I had documented it, it would have been beneficial...
And I don't really have time for that.... These days....

It takes some dexterity and patience...

    Sorry....

I need to replace the LCD on my P-L1. I have both dexterity, patience and electronic skills as I have been inside many cameras. I have the rear panel freed except for the top. The rear panel is attached at the top of the camera in a way I can figure out. Any help appreciated!!

If I remember you have to remove the second set of screw that seem to be olding the front of the camera, there is a connecter the slide under...Like I said, this is from memory....

    Rear Panel Removal

I got stuck trying to free the top of the EPL2 as well. If anyone has instructions on that step, I'd really appreciate the help.
