I've read on a few forums that for best results to set the camera at -2 for in camera noise reduction for a GH2. However, I can't find that in the settings for my GH2.

Are those only for hacked cameras? Is there a feature to turn off in-camera noise reduction for GH2's when shooting in RAW?

It's labeled "NR" under the Film Modes.

Thanks Promit, I never would've been able to find it myself. I even have the GH2 book by Brian Matsumoto and couldn't find it in there...

  4. Not that I know of, the setting referenced by Promit is for shooting jpg.
Raw data is unaffected by settings like noise reduction, contrast, sharpening etc. Only [LONG SHTR NR] works with raw by dark frame subtraction.
