I just got a new E-PM1 and tried the VF-2 from my old E-P2. I noticed some quite dramatic improvements when I used the finder on the E-PM1. In low light there was significantly less noise and even in brighter light there was less digital artifacts along sharp edges etc. Any one else notice this? The only review I have seen that mentions improved EVF performance is the one on Luminous Landscape and it doesn't go into any detail.

I got the VF-2 with the E-P2 as a kit and never really liked using it except for macro in decent light. So it has been sitting on the shelf most of the time. Now when I try the same finder on the E-PM1 it's a much more pleasant experience. Maybe it will see more use now.

Yup. Much better on my E-P3 (vs 2). Low light especially - much less grainy.
