It appears that the dialogue box used to post images has changed so that the default setting is 'upload images' rather than 'link to URL', as it used to be. I've found this really frustrating as you now have to select the URL dialogue box and then the text box, as doing the former doesn't default to the text box where you paste an image link. I'm not sure what the ratio of people is that link vs uploads, but it's become quite clunky with the change (the dialogue box looks horrid).

vBulletin doesn't have a good way to allow both methods. It's either this way, or have no option to upload from computer (the old way). One of many reasons I'm testing Xenforo as an option to migrate this forum to.

It makes you wonder who designs and updates the vBulletin boards when so many aspects often tend to be clunky devices seemingly from the 80s.

Another change that happened recently is that in the "Manage Attachments" dialogue,
it no longer seems to be able to identify or extract thumbnails.
When you upload an image, the placeholder is a large question mark.
The image posts fine on the forum page, no problem there;
(and no double images now - thanks, Amin).
