    can anyone recommend?

Too many times I've been delayed getting to shots having to unwrap my Panasonic wired shutter release from the upper tripod legs.

    Basta!

    Anyone?

I use the Pixel Oppilas wireless shutter release. Here's my review: http://youtu.be/Gt0P0IVWFvk

You would use the L1 version for the GH3

I use a couple of Velcro cable management strips to attach my wired shutter release to one of my tripod legs with enough slack to permit camera position adjustment. You could use an android or ios tablet/phone with Lumix Link for a wireless release. The above mentioned devices work well too.

Ouch. The L1 is $53. I'll look for it on eBay.

    I've been using this: www.amazon.com/Aputure-ACO-NK90W-Coworker-Shutter-Panasonic/dp/B0045L0ULY/

The nice thing here is that the only difference between Panasonic, Olympus, Sony, Nikon, etc. is a different connecting cable. I have one unit with cables for different camera brands. So if you were to get an Oly camera in the future, you could just get a second cable.

If you bracket and the bracket is supposed to work with a single shutter press, I have found that the wireless remote and third party wired remotes that I have do not work properly. Use a Panasonic and everything is OK. Just a heads up.

I attach a small strip of velcro to all of my tripods on one of the legs. Corresponding velcro on the back of the transmitter. Always know where it is and it is out of the way.

One of the nice things about my GX7 is that there's an app that provides wireless control of the camera. Wireless shutter release is just one of the features.

I wish Panasonic would release a windows version of the Lumix Link software. It seems to work fine with my iPod, but I would to use it with my windows tablet and laptop. The only drawback is that it drains the camera battery a lot faster than normal operation does.
