I've had it for about 3 weeks now. The only lenses I have are the 12-40 Oly and 17 f/1.8 Oly. I've taken it with me on various trips during the holidays and it's really fun to use and gives me great images. My full E-M1 gallery of about 100 images is here: http://www.openbloom.com/CAMERAGEAR/Olympus-OMD-EM1-Gallery And here are a few samples from the gallery...
Thanks everyone. Regarding my processing...I use raw format and import to Adobe Lightroom. I usually set the camera profile in Lightroom to 'Natural'. Sometimes I tweak the white balance, but the E-M1 is great at getting it right more than any other camera I've used. I also sometimes bump up the 'Vibrance' and 'Clarity' sliders a little. Mild sharpening. Sometimes boost up the exposure or brightness if needed and sometimes bring down the highlights a little. It all depends on the image. I try not to do anything drastic unless I feel like going crazy a little and for those occasions I'll convert to black and white, etc, etc.
Beautiful shots there! Makes me want to go out with my E-M1 and get some shutter therapy! Sent from my SM-N9005 using Mu-43 mobile app
Thank you! yes, the Redwood forests are incredible. Unique places, hope we make it back there one day
I'm loving it for the Art Filters. I was having a retina problem for 6 months before surgery, which prevented me from doing any computer processing (post-processing). This E-M1 "kept me going" while waiting the mandatory 6 months before surgery.
