Thank you.
It was the second image (somehow I've ommited it for some time) which rang the bell. The third one, frankly, would not tell me much.

It's Sat evening around here, and I'm a bit busy right now ?

If someone is ready with the next one - please post it.
Otherwise I'll try to find something tomorrow.

Let's try this one - please be specific for the make and model (should be possible to identify ).
Make symbol mostly erased for now.

The item is well related to this forum, though not m4/3.
It's in the original box, as they were sold.

So is the object shown the container the lens came in?
so I’m around everyone age and I worked in a camera store in the 70ds
I never saw this container other than Nikon and Canon made lens tubes in witch the lens would mount to the base and the top would screw to the base thus sealing in the lens
Is this what we’re looking at

The cap of the box is also the lens cap. At least in my version which resembles this mystery object

Thank you - that is good explanation. I guess it could be also called "case", but mostly it's called "box".

Leica has re-issued Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 in a round plastic box that looks a lot like this.

Clear part is totally clear without those ribs though.

Yes, there are a few lenses like this (AFAIK), but with boxes without ribs.

It's a lens in the original box / case / container. The lens attaches to the black cap by it's thread.

This is to prove that there is actually lens in the box, and at the same time more of makers symbol revealed:

At least russian Industar has used a box with ribs but logo does not look like that.

/edit: on closer examination "Industar" is just a lens type made by who knows how many manufacturers just like "Helios" so this one must be made by Vologda
https://camerapedia.fandom.com/wiki/Soviet_Factory_Logos?file=Vologda.gif

According to this source (which I used to check the manufacturer of my Helios 44) Vologda never made Industar lenses but they did make Helios 44 so it must be this then.

So at this point it would appear this is for some obscure off the wall not mainstream lens manufacturer and the term “box” is loosely used as a box has 6 sides

Correct. It's Russian and it's not Industar.

This lens has in fact it's own thread here, although not very popular.

If it's still too difficult, I will show the whole logo within 1/2h.

It must be either Jupiter 21 or Helios 44 then because that is vologda logo and those two lenses are the only ones which have their own threads here.

https://camerapedia.fandom.com/wiki/Soviet_Factory_Logos

Helios-44-2 58mm f/2
But i have already guessed so if that doesn't count ignore my answer

Logo is correct - late VOMZ logo.
But none of those lenses. Jupiter 21 is a 200 mm f/4 lens, and surely would not fit. It's not a Helios either (I'm not sure if they were sold in such boxes - but even if, Helios is also bigger than the one shown).
