You obviously mean one of thoseThis type of wrench is a Swedish invention. Invented by the same guy who invented the adjustable pipe wrench.
His company eventually became BAHCO.
If you hold a Bahco wrench in your right hand and it is orientated the same way as in the picture, the wrench will always tighten when you roll the screw downwards with your thumb.
Most other brands go the opposite direction. Very irritating when you are used to a Bahco. Might be a patent avoiding feature.
I didn't know they were a Swedish invention. Here in North America, the Bahco are very uncommon - actually, I don't remember how I got that particular one - but I can say they are very good quality, better than most we normally get here.
