Maybe it's more often used as a silicone gun, but glue application is another possibility. It goes also by squeezer or pistol.
I will post the image of the whole thing in the morning CET.
Your turn ?
Not really that type of glue gun I was thinking of - ah well a win is a win ? I will have to have a hunt around -

It's called a gun, and can be used with glue cartridge - what can I say ?
Maybe you did mean the one melting the glue sticks, but it was somehow excluded as "not heat related".

Here the PAT # is visible, by which simple googling gives this:

https://patents.google.com/patent/US5887765A/en

and that is why it's erased on the detail images ?

The small lever ("firearm-safety-switch" like  ) relates to the "dripless" function (drop symbol also erased on detail img).
