Congrats, Chris. Hardest personal thing I ever did. Had my last cigarette on 22 June 1982. I still consider myself a non-smoking cigarette addict ...26 years of smoking finally pays off! Actually I’m very happy to be smoke free for going on 9 months now, and believe I have officially kicked the habit.
Yup went from Marlboro to nothing some where around 1980Congrats, Chris. Hardest personal thing I ever did. Had my last cigarette on 22 June 1982. I still consider myself a non-smoking cigarette addict ...
And I also instantly recognised that object this morning.
Every time I go to hospital, they ask:
- Are you a smoker? No.
- Have you ever smoked? Yes.
- When did you stop? 1982.
- How many did you smoke a day?
- For how long?
All duly noted.
Thankfully, my lungs are still in excellent condition, specially for a chronic asthmatic.
