I realized that for some reason my mind drifted towards firearms - and I did answer accordingly: it's not gun (in the firearm meaning).
But I suppose the object can be also called (among others) " ... gun ".
If you did mean something wider then only firearms related guns, my apologies for the possible misleading.
Now, that's a clue, isn't it?
This one is a few years old, you can buy those today (some of a slightly different design, for the same purpose), and IMO they will be needed for several more years.
