There it is! This would’ve been a second hint photo-

And I debated showing a picture of the whole getup, but have opted not to. Pretty much nothing about it isn’t wildly illegal 😂

All yours!

Wait a sec. Did you edit that? I swear I read double magazine clip holder, and you dropped the ‘belt’.
Oh well 😂 Yours now anyway

Was wondering if folks thought my "binocular" response was a typo or a clue... It's a Russian-made night vision scope with illuminator thrift shop find. Don't know if it works since I haven't been able to figure out what kind of batteries it needs. I'm assuming this was a surplus item that was remarketed for export?

I found this item interesting. It was apparently sold by popular mechanics for about $250 back in the 94-96’ years. Also, takes a commonplace CR2032. Bet you have one around the house.

Yeah, I tried to contact that guy to get more info but he never responded. I've seen the original ad but that doesn't talk about battery reqs. The illuminator could potentially use a stack of CR2032s but the night vision device itself seems to have a squareish battery compartment. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Booo...oh well. It does look like the illuminator would take a stack of coin cells, but I guess I don’t know how many sqaure-ish batteries have ever been made outside of a good old fashioned 9v.
