I took a trip to Iceland this weekend to see the Formula Offroad NEZ (North European Zone) championshiprace.
I didnt bring my Canon 300mm becuse it´s so big and heavy, (Pls Olympus bring us a smaller 300mm!!) So i used my Oly 75mm and 12mm for these images.

Oly 75mm, First day was grey and rainy.

Great series of images again. Out of curiosity, what shutter speeds are you aiming for with these shots?

When i want to freeze the action i just use A mode and let the camera handle the shutterspeed, to get as fast as possible, but for getting blury wheels and background i use S mode and set the shutter to about 60-125 depending on how fast they where driving where i wanted to take the pic.

Thanks, i expected you to say A mode actually gave you the slower shutter speeds. I'm going to an off road event this weekend, nothing as extreme as Iceland, probably way more sedate, but it's something id like to do justice to with a few shots.

Great shots! That first one is just eye catching. Of course, number 4 reminds me of trying to get up my driveway in the winter. :frown:
