My E-P1 produces great jpg's that are sharp and contrasty with beautiful saturated colors. But, yesterday morning I took the E-P1 with me to a car show. It was a nice Fall day with the sun shining behind a thin layer of clouds. I began taking pictures with the sun behind me and wow, the LCD screen was barely visible. This made me wish that I had taken my Panasonic G1, with the integrated EVF.

So how are you E-P1 and Panasonic GF1 owners dealing with the LCD going invisible in sunlight? Is the E-P2 with external EVF as convenient as the G1?

I have a GF1 and sometimes you just have to guess and then look at the screen after you've shot the picture. Some day I'll get the viewfinder.

If the light's behind me, I just move my head so that I cast a shadow over the screen.
