I made it back! I have decided this go around to shoot Primes. I am looking for the 14mm or 19mm, and think I want the 30mm. Any reason not to go with these two lenses?

I have the 14mm and the 30mm, and I think they are extremely goos for what they are. Very fast focus, very good sharpness and nice color rendition. The main issue is that they are not that fast, but f2.5 and f2.8 respectively is enough to me.

Forgot to mention, one thing that bothers me with the 30mm is the wobbling of the internal mechanism when the camera is turned off.

Thanks for that info, I went ahead and purchased the Sigma 30, hopefully I won't have that annoyance.

I really prefer primes, that's almost all that I use. I do have the 100-300 zoom because I can't afford the 75 and there are no other telephoto primes right now (except legacy glass, of course.)

Yeah, I broke down and got the 45-200 because I know I will want and not have it for kid shots. Other than that just the 19 and 30 prime
