Hurried Harvest

    They were harvesting this field as fast as possible trying to beat the rain storm.

    I'm no farmer and I'm not certain what sort of crop this is, but that looks more like spraying or seeding than harvesting to me.

    Regardless, it's a very fine image with some terrific light. Is that an HDR?

    It looks like hay which has already been cut and is being turned over to ensure even drying and that it doesn't rot. It will be baled up when it goes dry and yellow.
    I was brought up on farms and that is my guess!

    They were harvesting some kind of grass. There was another harvester of some kind which was filling up open top semis as fast as they could arrive. This tractor seemed to be "raking" the cut grass into rows for the harvester. I'm not real sure as it was getting pretty dark by the time I arrived and started shooting.

    It is not an HDR. Just heavily worked with Lightroom with OnOne and Nik plugins.
