    I know the world is trying to encouraqe cycling to cut carbon etc but this is the way to Davy Jones' locker!!..............G1+Olympus 50mm f3.5 macro.

    The unexpected consequences of ill thought out signs.

    You might have seen this one when you were down this way last year. I don't have a close up of it, this was taken from the upper deck of a double decker bus on Slapton Line. The small print under the letter P says 1/2 mile, the arrow pointing out to sea, so this one is perhaps trying to get rid of all those polluting cars by drowning them in the ocean.

    Nice one Barrie. Yes, I must have driven past it a score of times and taken it only at face value. If I remember correctly the beach shelves quite steeply around Slapton so it would be a rapid route to the big car park in the sky or in this case on the sea-bed.
    Bit of work to do this a.m. then out to the coast where the birds are collecting in huge numbers - shelducks, teal, wigeon, redshanks, curlew, sandpiper, oyster catchers et al. I'm not into wildlife photos so strictly binoculars.
    I did try the CV 90mm on a couple of bird shots some time ago but they're just wee smudges on a carpet of mud.
