A morning walk from my hotel just after sunrise in Huddersfield, a town in Yorkshire. I was very impressed with the 12-35 on the GH3 in this walk. I'm starting to think some of my views comparing the 12-35 unfavourably to the 12 at 12 (at least on the GH3) are a bit overdone.

Nice set, some lovely early morning sun to work with there, providing nice lighting.

Particularly like the first and last, and the sun in the first didn't phase the camera or lens at all.

Cheers! I'm glad I used the 12-35 for that first one and not the 7-14 (much as I love the 7-14 it would have ended up as flare city in that shot)...

Excellent set. Good colors and sharpness. The GH3 and the 12-35 seem like a nice bit of kit, if that's not too much of an understatement. ;-)

If only it wasn't so cold it would be great! Cheers

Thank you. That's the beauty of the 12-35, it isn't fazed by bright directional sunlight like the (otherwise excellent) 7-14mm

Not that it was a bad lens mounted on the G5 or the E-M5, but the 12-35mm just makes so much more sense (and feels like it gives a little extra) mounted on the GH3

Cheers! The golden hour can provide absolutely stunning lighting and if you do have some scenery to work with, the results can be amazing.

This was just a visit for reasons other than sightseeing, but I always like to take my camera with me on the off chance I'll get to go for a walk in the morning, particularly at this time of year when sunrise is later.
