Here's a little story to go with this lens. Went out for breakfast, with my lovely wife, on this rainy cruddy Saturday. Walked into a second hand store and this was on the shelf.

Not that I need a 300 mm FD mount lens, but it was soooo brand new looking, original cardboard box, lens caps, front and rear... clean as a whistle I couldn't leave it there. I told my wife I was going to buy it and put on the MU-43 board, but they wanted too much money for it... $75.00. I haggled for awhile and still probably paid too much money... $44.00.

I came home and looked it up as best I could and, it seems to be close to or the same as a Tokina 300 mm 5.6. it's quite compact for a 300mm tele actually. I took these pics about 20 minutes ago. Even stuck a G1 near it with the kit zoom attached for scale. This lens truly looks like brand new (suckered me into this)

So here it is... I paid $44.00 for it. It's yours for $44.00 and whatever it costs to ship it to wherever it finds a home. I could care less where it ships to "if a member buys it" and I'm familiar with their screen name.

$44.00 for the lens - Pay Pal. We'll calculate the shipping, then you can Pay Pal that amount to me as well...

I hope somebody wants it... or you could buy it just to prevent my wife's teasing me..

Shown with the original box, carry case, caps etc.

Someone please claim this before I buy another lens (in another format that I have no mount).

    It's minty-ness has a strong pull.

    Hi Guys,

I got a PM from cvwood saying he wanted the lens... he didn't post that he'd pm'd me... so I could not inform anyone, as the thread starter can't answer or bump their own thread in FS.

That was early this afternoon.... never heard back from him.

In the meantime we discovered the lens fits in a medium USPS "flat rate" box. So $10.95 anywhere in the USA... $10.95

I have no idea what's happened to cvwood?

    Cheers, Alan

If the deal falls through, I'll take it. I'm in Canada, but would pay the extra postage if necessary.

    Hi,

I sent him my PayPal address at 3:10 PM. Haven't heard a peep since.

If I don't hear from him by tomorrow around lunchtime... It's all yours.

As I said, it's $10.95 flat rate box, USA. I'll have to find out the difference to Canada... can't be too much.
