The G3 seems like the best bang for the buck in m4/3 right now (of current generation anyway). If you haven't seen them yet, check out the image threads in the native lenses sub forum.

Do yourself a huge favor, before you start narrowing your options down too far, or before you let your heart set on a particular model....go down to a camera store put them in your hand. Technical specs, other people images and user impressions are one thing, but how it looks up close and in particular how it feels in your hands is more important. If the specs are right and it feels good to hold....it'll probably serve you well.

    Oh, and btw....welcome :)

As great as that sounds - that is not an option for me to put my hands on - so I have to rely on specs and other peoples impressions of the cameras.

Yeah, I don't think we have a lot of small, specialist camera stores left in the US, and you are lucky to find maybe one to two m4/3 models at the big box retailers (Best Buy, etc.).

I am guessing you have already found some, but there are a ton of "what should I buy" threads around here. Of course, I think E-P3 is the right answer!

Honestly I love the NEX-5n - but since I like HDR photography the AEB on the NEX-5n BLOWS!!!!!

That brought me to teh E-P3 which def looks great but the price of the G3 with the same specs pretty much is hard to beat....

I bought on specs before... Nikon d70 vs oly e1. Mistaaaaaaaaaake! I got more specs and less passion for my buck.
